June 8 – 11, 2022
“Good things take time”
When we started to plan this conference, COVID-19 was still unknown. Since then, the pandemic has changed the lives of all of us. Indeed we got used to many of the changes in daily life, including digital conferencing. Without a doubt, increasing digitization offers enormous advantages. But the human being is a social being and personal exchanges are often neglected in times like these.
I am therefore very pleased to invite you to the upcoming EAPM face-to-face conference at the Hofburg Vienna, Austria. In addition to top-class speakers; networking, personal contact and celebrating together will be possible in a safe yet personable way. I’m really looking forward to welcoming you personally to the beautiful city of Vienna.

The Ukraine war leaves us speechless and stunned. Once again we have to realize that nothing is taken for granted.
But how did it come to this? What role do fear and media play in controlling the society? And how do things actually look in the mind of dictators?

In keeping with the motto “Enjoying Science“ we are planning a new form of a conference. In addition to the scientific part, we are very much looking forward to a good time together. For this reason we have extended the breaks a bit and these are accompanied by live music by young musicians from the Vienna University of Music and culinary delights from Motto Catering. As children are our future we will offer child care at the venue during the main conference times and this can also make participation for parents with young children possible.
I am really looking forward to welcoming you to this year’s EAPM at the Hofburg Palace right in the heart of the beautiful city of Vienna.
